Star children

Star children
"Losing a child is always a crack in time"

Parents of star children - especially those whose children still died in the womb - are taken more than their child: "The hopes and dreams of a common future".
Where parents who have lost their living child are granted grief and pain by society, the parent status of Star Child parents is hardly recognized in society.
Often, parents of star children only find out when asked that they can bury their star child. A stillbirth (before the law a deceased child weighing more than 500 grams) can be registered by the civil registry, but weighing less than 1000 grams is not subject to burial in all federal states.
Too often, this means that parents are not even offered this option. It is possible in all federal states to create a resting place for children under this weight limit and thus create a place that offers space for memory, for grief - and one day also for the peace that grief brings.
It is often particularly important for parents of star children that their children leave traces outside of their parents' grief.
